Lake Sunapee and more

 

Lake Sunapee, Perkins Pond, Mountain View Lake, Otter Pond, Little Lake Sunapee and Pleasant Lake are all only a few minutes drive away.

Swim, fish, kayak, water-ski, paddle-boat. You can rent boats from Goodhue or take out one of the free boats at the private Dewey Beach (available with a pass from Sheryl's Sunapee Guest House). Dewey Beach also has a basketball court, lounge chairs and picnic tables. Mt. Sunapee State Park Beach also has rentals. 

Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region

 

Mount Sunapee (the closest), Mount Kearsarge, Winslow State Park, Rollins State Park are some of the many NH state parks to explore.

Enjoy Mount Sunapee, with some of the best views in northeast skiing. Epic Pass holders have access to Okemo (46 miles away) and Stowe (102 miles away) in Vermont. The mountain resorts also host adventure parks during the summer and fall. 

Arts and Culture

 

The week-long League of NH Crafts Fair (the longest-running annual crafts fair in the country), the New London Barn Playhouse, the Northern Stage, the Lebanon Opera House are just a few of the iconic venues that enrich the region with their artistry.

The Center for the Arts-NH is a good place to find a listing of local artist events, live performances, museums, poetry readings, author talks, outdoor concerts and more.
